Hey Eight Theme Team,
I reached out to my hosting support for help with this issue and, after troubleshooting everything they could think of, they said to reach out to you.
The issue is this: I have an SSL certificate installed. However, my website is still showing as insecure and using http:// urls instead of https://. I tried using the Velvet Blues plugin to update the urls, but they are not updating.
What can I do to force all urls to use https:// and secure my site?
Thank you,
Lauren
Hi,
1,5 years ago I made the same change from http to https. It is a hosting service provider’s task to install a certificate and set up the server (redirecting). In my case it happened in one step and on one day; I did not have to do anything, just pay for the certificate.
Just push the service provider to make his work!
Regards,
Fedor
Hello @lkendrick22,
@Flexibilis is right, and you need ask your hosting provider support to set redirect rule in your .htaccess file on the server.
So, please contact them and let us know the result.
